I got mesmerised by the drifting. I was there for a least 15 minutes
Then I remembered what people go to the cars shows to see 🙂
Car Washes seem to be the favour of the day
although not everyone wanted to get wet
Some people couldn’t make their minds up
Others weren’t giving a choice
But it was a good clean fun

I went to the inaugural Lotus Festival at Snetterton on Sunday. Snetterton is the best circuit I’ve been to for taking motorsport pictures without a track pass.
The racing was pretty much what you get with cars once someone gets in front it’s difficult to get passed especially in this case where everyone driving the same spec machine.
This was the winner in the GT cup race.
Before lunch The World Record attempt for the largest number of Lotus cars in a parade. I was standing by the entrance between Coram Corner and Russell Bend if you want a picture of your car and its not on the link below email me
There were 434 cars according to the web site I wonder if they also qualifies for the worlds most expensive traffic jam 🙂
Had a wander round the pits during the lunchbreak
and here it is on the track
And a couple more races to finish of the day
Here’s a link to the album

One of the re-occurring problems I’ve had with my camera is the rubber coating coming unstuck.
I had a look at Camera Armor at this years Focus but it’s £40- £50 so a tube of superglue was a bit cheaper.
Jessops seem to have a bit of a sale on at the moment so for less then a tenner delivered thought I’ll give is a go.
This one fits the Fuji S5 or Nikon D200 tell ’em Richard sent you 🙂 or use the promo code JESSOPS5
I’ll let you know how I get on with it.
