Lotus Festival

Posted by drawyahr on Mon 15 June 2009

I went to the inaugural Lotus Festival at Snetterton on Sunday. Snetterton is the best circuit I’ve been to for taking motorsport pictures without a track pass.

The racing was pretty much what you get with cars once someone gets in front it’s difficult to get passed especially in this case where everyone driving the same spec machine.

This was the winner in the GT cup race.

Before lunch The World Record attempt for the largest number of Lotus cars in a parade. I was standing by the entrance between Coram Corner and Russell Bend if you want a picture of your car and its not on the link below email me

There were 434 cars according to the web site I wonder if they also qualifies for the worlds most expensive traffic jam :)

Had a wander round the pits during the lunchbreak

and here it is on the track

And a couple more races to finish of the day

Here’s a link to the album
